Console game number 1- “Minecraft”

“Minecraft” takes the number one spot on the Top 10 games of the decade because it changed the way games were made. “Minecraft” is a fun survival game in which you and friends would try to to survive monsters and explore the world for precious items. Another thing that made this game so iconic is the creativity that it allowed, you could make anything and everything you could want to make in “Minecraft”. Which is why it was so popular because it allowed people to express their creativity.

Console game number 2- “Black Ops 2”

This is one of the best Call Of Duty’s ever made, and definitely the best out of the Black Ops Series. This Call Of Duty  was apart of every kids childhood, from the map NukeTown to the iconic Zombies maps like Transzit and Origins. This Call Of Duty had it all, the best multiplayer maps, the best Zombie maps and the best and most iconic weapons. I think that everyone that had a console when they were younger would say Black Ops 2 was apart of they’re childhood

Console game number 3- “Battlefield 1”

 My personal opinion is that it’s one of the best multiplayer shooters ever made aside from a couple games in the Call Of Duty series. But the thing that makes BattleField 1 so different than any other multiplayer PVP (player vs player) is the background behind the game and the exceptional way the maps were made. The really cool thing about BattleField 1 is that all of the weapons, maps,vehicles and DLC are actually references of locations of battles in World War 1 and the actual vehicles and weapons used during the war. Along with this Battlefield 1 is just an all around amazing game with amazing graphics, great story and history behind it and really fun and challenging.

Console game number 4- “Modern Warfare 2“

Definitely the best of the Modern Warfare series. Modern Warfare 2 is number 3 on the list because of the iconic maps that everyone loves such as Rust, Terminal and Highrise. These are hands down the best maps in the whole Call Of Duty franchise along with NukeTown. Another thing that made this game so iconic was it started the era of trickshotting and sniping in Call Of Duty.

Console game number 5- “ Super Smash Bros Brawl/Ultimate“

Super Smash Bros Was apart of everyone’s childhood that owned an Wii. With the abundant characters from various games this fighting game has made it into the top 10 best games of the decade. Also with the release of the game Super Smash Bros Ultimate the series is just as popular than ever, especially with the release of the Nintendo Switch people can play Super Smash Bros anywhere.

Console game number 6- “Grand Theft Auto 5”

Even though the game was very inappropriate and was rated “M” Grand Theft Auto Five(GTAV) was a magnificent game with a very fun story mode, but the best part was the multiplayer in which you and friends could do heist together along with minigames. 

Console game number 7- “Destiny”

This game was one of the most fun multiplayer games ever, and what made it great was the customization of your character, the online story you could play with friends and the ability to create your own clan. Which led to new events and raids every month.

Console game number 8- “Last Of Us”

This game isn’t your typical zombie story, the game allows you to get attached to the characters and make you feel immersed in the story. Also the exciting and thrilling storyline wouldn’t let you sleep at night. One of the coolest aspects to this game is stealth and caution you have to take when using certain items because everything is limited to what you find.

Console game number 9- “Fortnite“

Fortnite is and has become one of the biggest played games in the world in such a short amount of time. With its initial release in 2017 it’s gaining more popularity everyday. Overall it’s a really fun game that urges the player to play with friends in a variety of game modes.

Console game number 10- “The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt”

A story unlike any other that came from the original books series, a series so good that it now got a Netflix show. With graphics that easily beat hundreds of games.
