Bringing back country with an indie twist and going on 78 sold out concerts for the year is Faye Webster. She started singing in her teens and released her first album “Run and Tell” at 16 years old back in 2013. Her songs always have a graceful flow to them whether it’s about love, life experiences or her daily life. Webster’s songwriting skills didn’t come from studying at Belmont University, but from having a natural talent from a young age. She grew up immersed in music, always fascinated by her family members and their talent. She took inspiration from her grandfather especially because he played in various bands, and these bluegrass themes are reflected frequently in her songs. Webster considered herself to be an underdog, always learning from others and never the inspiration. But with over 7.2 million listeners monthly, she’s caught the public’s attention.
Webster has grown so much over the years as she’s slowly built a diverse fanbase and established her sound as a musician.
